What Is A DUII?
In Oregon, officials use the term DUII which stands for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants, rather than DUI, which stands for Driving Under the Influence. You can be arrested of a DUII when you’re driving is impaired either by drugs or alcohol, or a combination of both. The phrase “Under the Influence” is considered to be when your physical and/or mental capabilities are impaired as a result of alcohol and/or drugs, including prescription drugs.
In addition, you can be arrested for a DUII when driving a car, truck, or motorcycle, as well as boats, bicycles, mopeds, and scooters.
